Beers

DRAUGHT

Dogfish Head Raison D’Etre (Colorado) 5
A delicious and exotic Belgian-style dark ale fermented with golden raisins.

Dale’s Pale Ale (Colorado)    5
This might be my new favorite beer.  Exactly what I want in a pale ale.

Mother Earth IPA (Kingston, NC)    5
Wonderfully balanced IPA, this is just what you need on a bright spring day.

BOTTLES AND CANS

Pilsners, Lagers, and Lighter-Styled Beers

PBR (Wisconsin)    2.5
It’s good.

Pacifico (Mexico)    4
Crisp and light.  It brings me back to Cali.

Bohemia (Mexico)    4
Just a notch richer than your typical Mexican beer and my choice of late.

Carta Blanca (Mexico)    4
Similar in style to an American lager.  In other words, like Bud, only better.

Amstel Light (Netherlands)    4
‘Cause you’re on a diet and it’s actually pretty tasty.

North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner (California)    5
Crisp and classic but a bit bigger than its neighbors to the south.

Oscar Blues “Little Yella” Pils (Colorado)    5
Makes you think of the classic Czech pilsners.  Nervy but satisfying.

Ales

Stone Pale Ale (California)    5
These guys are cocky as hell but have the goods to back it up.

Highland St. Therese Pale Ale (North Carolina)    4.5
A really pretty beer.  A nice change from hopped up monsters.

Bell’s Two Hearted IPA (Michigan)    5
Pretty much why you want an IPA.

Widmer Drifter Pale Ale (Oregon) 5
Smooth and clean. An agreeable quaff to start your evening.

Avery IPA (Colorado)    5
Impressive and big, but still nicely balanced.

Dogfish Head 60-Minute IPA (Delaware)    5
A great balance of hops and malty goodness

Highland Gaelic (North Carolina)    5
Round, brown, and so damned tasty.

Rogue’s Red (Oregon)    5
Nice medium-bodied ale for when you don’t feel like working so hard.

Stone Oak Aged Arrogant Bastard Ale (California)    6
Candidly, I’m amazed at this ale’s balance and charm.

Smuttynose Old Brown Dog Ale (Oregon)    5
A smooth brown ale that’s as reliable as your best friend.

Founder’s Double Trouble IPA (Michigan)    6
Well-hemmed and surprisingly balanced for a double IPA.

Rogue Double Dead Guy (Oregon, 22 oz)    15
A massive beer in a very cool bottle.

Belgians and Belgian Style

Allagash White (Main)    6
About as fine a whit as you’ll find outside of Belgium.

Leffe Golden Ale (Belgium)    5
Light and very easy to like with nice citrus notes.

Victory Golden Monkey (Pennsylvania)    5.5
Very fun and with quite a kick.  Tons of flavors coming at you.

Founders “Cherise” Cherry Ale (Michigan)    6
This is not a fruit bomb.  Nice acidity and pleasant but dialed-in fruit.

Delirium Tremens (Belgium)    10
Iconic and for a good reason.  Nuance-laden and charming as hell.

Lindeman’s Apple Lambic (Belgium)    10
Sweet but refreshing with tart green apple notes.

Jolly Pumpkin “Oro de Calabaza” Ale (Michigan, 22 oz)    18
Rich but clean with notes of spice and pepper.

North Coast La Merle (California, 22 oz)    12
At once, an opulent and totally regal Saison-style ale.

Victory V12 (Pennsylvania, 22 oz)    12
Establish your beer-geek cred with this coveted and collected ale.

Mikkeller “It’s Alive” (Belgium, 22 oz)    18
An homage to Trappist Ales enhanced with Brettanomyces.

Dark

Negro Modelo (Mexico)    4
Dark but still crisp and clean.

Founder’s Porter (Michigan)    5
Light and very easy to like with nice citrus notes.

Left Hand Russian Imperial Stout (Colorado)    6
Sturdy, bad-ass, and totally delicious.

Pausa Cafe Tosta (Italy) 12
Stunningly complex with subtle notes of cocoa. Great story, too.
