Monday Taco Night Menu

Every Monday, we take a brief break from our normal dinner menu and serve some exotic tacos in addition to selection of appetizers, entrees, and, of course, the selection of tacos that we always offer at lunch and late night.

Here’s the thing though, we don’t actually write the Menu until the afternoon when we get in there and figure out what we’re going to do.

So, check here after 3pm each Monday to see what’s going to be on that night’s menu…

APPETIZERS

Sweet potato empanadas with chipotle fig sauce   7

Nachos with black beans, pico de gallo, pickled jalapeno, and house-made “chicharrones”  7

Potato-masa sopes with braised beef, queso fresco, and crema  8

Empanadas with black trupet mushroom, roasted red pepper, and goat cheese, served over cilantro lime salsa  8

Shredded chicken with cilantro and lime

Vegetales Mixtos     taco: 3  burrito:  8  platter: 13
Roasted mushrooms, poblanos, and squash

Barbacoa   taco: 3.5 burrito:  9 platter: 14
Braised beef with chile and tomatoes

Mole verde de verduras  taco: 3 burrito: 8  platter  13
Red peppers, onions, chayote, and carrots in a green mole

Higados de pollo  taco: 3. burrito: 8
Chicken liver in salsa roja

Marinatde shrimp in red chile sauce

Lightly battered and fried shrimp with marinated cucumber and spicy mayonnaise

Platters are larger portions and come with pinto beans, rice and tortillas.

ENTREES

Braised pork in tropical fruit mole. Served with beans and rice   16

Lamb enchiladas w/ tomato-red pepper salsa. With shredded cabbage, avocado, queso fresco   16

Filet Mignon with lentil refritos and wild mushrooms and spring onions in salsa verde   22

Spring vegetable and soy “mofongo” with salsa verde and purslane   14
